Terms of Use

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Use of the service is subject to these terms. This document is not a substitute for tailored legal advice.

The service

Recipe from a Post is a free service that attempts to extract an accessible caption from Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook and display it as readable text. There is currently no purchase, subscription, or payment, so no refund policy applies.

Permitted use

Only submit posts you have the right to access and process. Respect copyright, privacy, platform terms, and applicable law. Do not use the service to bypass access restrictions, scrape at scale, harass, infringe rights, or conduct illegal activity.

Ownership and copyright

Creators and platforms retain their rights in original content. The service does not grant ownership or a license in extracted content. You are responsible for how you use, copy, and share each result.

Accuracy and availability

Results may be incomplete or inaccurate, and extraction may fail for restricted, deleted, or changed post formats. Verify quantities, allergens, food safety, and instructions before use. The service is provided as is without a promise of uninterrupted availability.

Product matching and price comparison are estimates only. Prices may change, exclude promotions, or reflect branches in a limited region. Check final availability and price with the store before purchasing.

Third parties and no affiliation

The service uses an external extraction provider and other third-party infrastructure. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. Trademarks belong to their owners.

Takedown and liability

For takedown requests, rights notices, or questions, email shiftscrafter@gmail.com with the link and explanation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect damage caused by reliance on a result or service unavailability.

Changes and governing law

The service and these terms may change. Israeli law governs these terms, subject to mandatory rights that apply to you.
